Frederick Chavalit Tsao is the President of FBNPA and also Chairman of IMC Pan Asia Alliance Group (IMC Group) and IMC Corp.
Frederick began his maritime career in 1977 after joining his family’s shipping business IMC, a four-generation family business which traces its roots in banking, transportation and trade to Shanghai. Under his stewardship, IMC has expanded rapidly with activities extending into lifestyle and property projects. Recognising the importance of family businesses in the global economy, Frederick is a strong advocate of robust research in areas such as business transformation, social engagement,leadership cultivation and succession planning to enable family businesses to learn more from each other.
Frederick holds a Master of Science in Engineering (Industrial and Operations Engineering) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) from the University of Michigan.

Sajen Aswani is a third generation member of a family-owned enterprise, Tolaram Group. The Singapore-based company, founded in 1948, comprises companies in several business sectors – manufacturing of food, paper and textile, marketing and distribution, financial services and real estate developments in six countries.
In 2000, he was appointed as CEO of Tolaram Group bringing with him a wealth of more than 25 years of experience in managing and developing industrial and trading operations in Asia, Europe and the African Continent.

Bernard Chan is a deputy to the National People’s Congress and a former member of both Hong Kong’s Executive and Legislative Councils. He is Chairman of the Antiquities Advisory Board, the Advisory Committee on Revitalisation of Historic Buildings and the Council for Sustainable Development. He is also Chairman of the Lingnan University Council, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Deputy Chairman of the Oxfam Hong Kong, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Thailand Business Council and an advisor to Bangkok Bank, Hong Kong Branch.
He was awarded Commander (3rd Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand in 2004, and the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2006.

James Chen is a third generation member of a family-owned enterprise, Wahum Group Holdings, the Hong Kong and Nigerian based manufacturing company which produces consumer products, building materials and cardboard packaging. In 1995, he joined the family business as founder and CEO of Legacy Advisors Limited, a single family office operation. In 2004, he was appointed Chairman of Wahum Group Holdings.
James transformed the way his family managed and preserved its wealth with the establishment of Legacy Advisors which provides better control over a family’s assets with a more efficient approach to investment.
In 2003, he was instrumental in founding the family’s strategic philanthropic Foundation – the Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation. Since its inception, the foundation has supported close to 100 initiatives in Mainland China, Hong Kong and West Africa.

Roy Chen is the Chairman and CEO of Grace Financial Limited, an affiliate of its Hong Kong-based family business providing wealth management services to families and other high net worth individuals towards a goal of “wealth with a purpose”. He is also the Executive Director of Sterling Enterprises Limited and serves on boards of other local and overseas companies.
Roy also served on the grants committee of the family foundation, ZeShan (formerly the Sterling Foundation). He is a member of the US-based Russell 20-20 organisation, a select group of investment managers representing US$8 trillion in AUM (assets under management) with a special focus on Emerging Markets. He is also a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and served on the Takeover and Merger Panel of the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission from 2005 to 2008.
Roy holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from Claremont McKenna College.

Richard Eu is the Group CEO of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd which was founded in 1879 by his great grandfather. The company provides consumer healthcare products and services based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and integrative healthcare.
After graduating with a law degree from London University, Richard started his career as a merchant banker and later a stockbroker, before buying into and managing a group of companies dealing with computer equipment in SE Asia. The business was sold and he became a venture capital consultant before joining Eu Yan Sang in 1989.
He successfully built Eu Yan Sang’s traditional Chinese medicine business into an unrivalled leader in this field in Asia. The company is publicly listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In 2003, he was a finalist in the coveted Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award in Singapore under the Master Category. He is also involved in non-profit and community organisations.

Lin Law is Chairman of Saiwai Land, Aeroline and Family Capital Centre which are part of the Law Group of Companies. Together with her husband, she built up Saiwai Land, a property development business founded in 1964, and later ventured into the transportation business with two of her children.
As a first generation, Lin not only supported her husband but also nurtured and motivated her five children to join the family business. She guided them in finding their potential and passion, and inspired the diversification of the family business which now includes interests in investment, properties, transportation, technology and consultancy.
Lin encouraged the establishing of Family Capital Centre as a family office and for the promotion of family business discipline. She is also Founder Advisor of Yellow House Society of Kuala Lumpur, a non-profit organisation focused on mentoring children at risks and providing integrated family services in poor communities.

Shanti L. Poesposoetjipto is the Chairman of PT. Samudera Indonesia, Tbk and PT. AsuransiBintang, Tbk. She began her career as the Manager of Soedarpo Service Bureau selling integrated computer services to third parties at Soedarpo Corporation, which was founded in 1952 by her father SoedarpoSastrosatomo.
From 1985 to 1988, Shanti led Soedarpo Corporation to successfully change its business focus to information technology and distribution of pharmaceutical products. As the Executive Vice President, she took a leading role in Soedarpo Corporation’s move towards its IPO in 1990.
Shanti holds a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, specialising in Computer Science from the Technology University of Munich, Germany.

Mary Ann Tsao is the President and Founding Director of the Tsao Foundation, a Singapore-based but regionally oriented non-profit foundation, dedicated to care of the aged and ageing issues.
Mary Ann has served on numerous policy committees in Singapore, including the Economic Review Committee’s Sub-Committee on the impact of economic restructuring, and the Committee on Ageing Issues. She also serves on numerous boards and management committees, such as SingHealth Foundation and the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Center. For her work on ageing in Singapore, she received the Public Service Medal in 2000 and Public Service Star in 2004.
She is on the advisory board of HelpAge’s Asia Regional Development Centre in Thailand. She has worked with numerous UN agencies in various capacities, the most recent being as technical advisor to WHO’s Age-Friendly Guidelines for Health Care Centers and the work group on Women, Ageing and Health.
Mary Ann is frequently invited to speak at conferences and seminars on ageing, civil society and philanthropy both in Singapore and internationally. Most recently, she was one of three international experts invited to address the United Nation’s 45th session of the Commission on Social Development to launch the fifth year review of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing.

Since its founding in 1885, Royal Selangor International Sdn. Bhd. has become synonymous with innovation and quality, and its products are sold in over 20 countries around the world.
His other experiences lie in the motorsports and automotive industry. After having worked as a design engineer in Formula One with Team Lotus International and Nissan Motorsports both in the UK, he returned to start up TVR Sports Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a boutique sports car manufacturer.
Yoon Li has held various positions on the board of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation in Malaysia and is currently its President.
He holds a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering School from the University of Birmingham, UK and an MBA from IMD, Lausanne Switzerland.
